Batik Clothing

New Batik Designs
Until recently I only sold my clothing a local boutique. Unfortantely it closed leaving me with a huge inventory that I am working on getting into a Hyena Cart Store. The fortunate part of it is that it has opened me up to doing more custom designs which I love to do!

My Designs
My Batik clothing ranges in sizes from New Born to XXL in adults. I mostly create onesies, t-shirts (short sleeve and long sleeve), tank tops and the occasional romper and dress. or anything you would like!
I have a large instock selection and also do customs

About Batik
Each piece of clothing is a unique piece of art. Batik dates back to Ancient Egypt where it was discovered in tombs. It is now most commonly associated with Java and Bali in Indonesia. I start with a white piece of clothing and apply wax using a special tool called a Tjanting to any area that I want white. Then I hand paint the design the desired colors and wax the design sealing in the colored design. The piece of clothing is then hand dyed and the wax removed leaving behind a one of a kind piece of wearable. It is truly one of a kind.

Care of Batik Clothing
Each piece of clothing is a unique and one of a kind creation. Much care is put into each original design, waxing and dyeing. Because it is a handmade piece of art there is some extra care that needs to be taken when washing your item. All items have been washed several times in hot and dried at on hot as well so they should not shrink, but remember they are 100% cotton.
• Wash clothing item separately from other clothes. Due to the dying process there may be some dye that will continue to bleed out in washings. Once you are sure there is no dye bleeding you can wash with your other clothing
• The item has been created on 100% cotton and you may experience some shrinking. Treat this item as you do all you 100% cotton item.
• You may wash and dry your piece in you washer and dyer.
